What is it?
Craniosacral therapy developed from the work of an American osteopath, Dr William Sutherland in the early 1900s. It was further developed by Dr John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system. This system comprises of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. How does it work?
