Zero Balancing
 
Zero balancing technique has its roots in osteopathy, acupuncture, Rolfing, and meditation. This technique was developed by Fritz Smith. It balances human energy field and its anatomical structure. This technique integrates a Western anatomical view of structure with Eastern concepts of body energy and heals the client by addressing the energy flow of the skeletal system.


Zero balancing technique provides relief from pain, anxiety, and stress by correcting imbalances between energy and structure. Zero balancing organizes the energy fields and internal reorientation by creating a point of stillness, at this point the mid becomes silent.

The working of Zero Balancing focuses on the interface between the structure of the bones, joints, soft tissues and the energy flowing through skeletal system of the client. The therapist practicing Zero Balancing uses pressure of the specific fingers and fulcrums. The therapist focuses on joints those transmit the energy rather than those involved in movements. One of the characteristics of the joints engaged in transmitting energy is that have no intrinsic musculature and are limited in their range of motion. Each zero balancing session is of 30 to 40 minutes, consists of gentle acupressure and focuses on joints and bones. The client lies seated on the massage table after this reclining on his back, these are the two positions in which Zero balancing is performed. During the session the client need not take his clothes off. The therapist uses hands-on touch to balance the client’s body's internal energy currents with bones, muscles, organs, and joints. After evaluating the energy flow and energy field in the client’s body the therapist balances the body structure accordingly. The human skeleton the deepest and the strongest currents, therefore the therapist focuses more on it.

Every Zero Balancing session is designed in such a way to provide a sense of well being and maximum relaxation to the client.
